Eyebrows

Eyebrows

Semi-permanent eyebrow techniques are popular cosmetic procedures designed to enhance the shape and appearance of your eyebrows. These techniques provide a more defined, fuller, and natural look compared to traditional tattoos and eyebrow makeup. Here are some semi-permanent eyebrow techniques offered:

Ombre Brows

  • Technique: A variation of powder brows, ombre brows are softer and more gradient in appearance. The color starts lighter at the front of the brow and gradually darkens toward the tail, giving a soft, shaded effect.
  • Result: A soft, well-defined brow with a gradient look. It's perfect for those who prefer a fuller, bolder brow but with a softer, more natural appearance.
  • Longevity: Lasts 2-3 years.
  • Best for: People with oily skin or those who prefer a makeup-like brow without the sharp lines of traditional tattooing.

Microblading

  • Technique: A hand-held tool  used to create individual hair-like strokes in the skin, mimicking the natural look of eyebrow hairs. The pigment is manually deposited into the skin.
  • Result: Very natural-looking eyebrows with individual hair strokes. This technique is best for people with sparse brows or who want a more defined yet natural look.
  • Longevity: Lasts 1-2 years.
  • Best for: People with normal to dry skin, those looking for a natural, soft brow, and individuals with sparse or thinning eyebrows.

Combo Brows (Hybrid Brows)

  • Technique: A combination of microblading and powder brows. The front of the eyebrows is usually done with microblading (creating natural hair-like strokes), while the tail is shaded with powder brows for a more defined, fuller look.
  • Result: A natural yet defined brow with hair-like strokes at the front and a more defined, filled-in look at the tail.
  • Longevity: Lasts 1-2 years.
  • Best for: This technique offers the best of both worlds:  Those who want a combination of natural strokes with a bolder finish at the end of the brow, ideal for most skin types.

Powder Brows (Shading)

  • Technique: A machine is used to deposit pigment into the skin, creating a soft, powdered effect that resembles the look of filled-in eyebrows with makeup. It's done with tiny dots of pigment layered on top of one another for a gradual, soft look.
  • Result: A soft, defined, and fuller look, ideal for those who want a bold, makeup-like brow without the need for daily filling in.
  • Longevity: Lasts 2-3 years.
  • Best for: People with oily skin or anyone who prefers a bolder, more defined brow that resembles the look of makeup.

Note: yearly touch-ups are generally advised for permanent makeup to maintain the color and shape, as the pigment fades over time.

Lips

Lip Blush

The lip blushing process is a semi-permanent cosmetic technique designed to enhance the color and shape of the lips. Here’s a breakdown of the typical steps involved:

1. Consultation:

  • During the consultation, you’ll discuss your desired look with the technician, including the color, shape, and level of enhancement you want for your lips.
  • The technician will also assess your natural lip shape and color, recommending pigments that best suit your skin tone.
  • They may also review your medical history to ensure you’re a suitable candidate for the procedure.

2. Design & Numbing:

  • Designing: The technician will outline and define your lips. They’ll work with you to ensure you like the shape and size of the outline before starting the procedure.
  • Numbing: A topical numbing cream is applied to your lips, typically taking 15-20 minutes to fully numb the area. This helps minimize any discomfort during the procedure.

3. Pigment Application:

  • Application: Using a small, specialized semi permanent tattooing machine, the technician deposits pigment into the skin of your lips in layers. The pigment is applied very precisely along your lip line and throughout the lips to achieve the desired color and definition.
  • The process usually takes 2-3 hours depending on the level of coverage and detail.
  • Multiple passes of pigment may be applied to ensure the color is even and vibrant.
  • Neutralization: (If needed) is a technique ideal for Individuals whose lips have a naturally cooler tone, such as blue, purple, or gray hues. These cool tones can make lips appear dull or ashy, and neutralization with warm pigments (like peach, coral, or orange) helps correct this and warm up the lip color.

4. Aftercare Instructions:

You will receive aftercare instructions & kit to help the healing process and maintain the results. Typical aftercare includes:

  • Applying an ointment or balm to keep the lips moisturized.
  • Avoiding sun exposure and heat (like saunas) for a few days.
  • Refraining from makeup on the lips for about a week.
  • Not picking or peeling any scabs that may form as your lips heal.

5. Healing Process:

  • Immediate After Effects: Your lips may be slightly swollen and appear darker right after the procedure. The color might seem more intense than the final result, as the pigment will gradually fade and settle.
  • Healing Phase: The healing process generally takes about 5-7 days, with peeling or flaking occurring during this time. As the skin regenerates, the color will soften and become more natural.
  • Final Color: The full result will typically be visible within 1-2 weeks after the procedure.

6. Touch-Up Session:

  • A touch-up is typically scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial session to refine the color and shape. This helps address any fading or areas that healed unevenly, ensuring the final result is smooth and perfect.

7. Maintenance:

  • Lip blushing can last anywhere from 1-3 years, depending on factors like your skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure.
  • It's recommend, you do a yearly touch-up to maintain the color and vibrancy.

Lip blushing creates fuller, more defined lips with a natural, subtle tint. It's perfect for those who want to enhance their lip color without the daily hassle of lipstick or lipliner.

Eyeliner

Eyeliner

Permanent eyeliner is a cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing pigment along the lash line to create the appearance of eyeliner & more seductive eyes. The process typically follows these steps:

1. Consultation:: The technician discusses your desired look, style, and any potential concerns. They'll also check your skin type and eye shape to determine the best approach.

2. Design & Prepping: The technician will sketch a design along your lash line, allowing you to approve the shape, thickness, and placement. Once agreed upon, a numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

3. Pigment Application Using a small, precise tattoo machine, the technician carefully deposits pigment into the skin along the lash line. This process usually takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on the complexity.

4. Aftercare Instructions: After the procedure, you'll be given instructions for proper aftercare. This includes keeping the area clean, avoiding makeup and water for a few days, and applying ointments to prevent infection and promote healing.

5. Healing: It usually takes 7-10 days for the initial healing to occur, but it can take 4-6 weeks for the pigment to fully settle and the final color to appear. Some fading is normal, and a touch-up session may be needed 6-8 weeks later.

The result is a natural, long-lasting eyeliner look, with minimal maintenance required. However, as with any tattoo, semi permanent makeup can fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 1-3 years to maintain the results.
